The display features around 50 panels with English explanations, illustrating the immense destruction wrought by the atomic bombings and showing images of injured individuals, particularly children, receiving medical treatment in the aftermath. In addition, significant items are displayed, including a clock that stopped at the precise moment the bomb was detonated over Hiroshima.

Jiro Hamasumi, the secretary general of Nihon Hidankyo, expressed the organization's hope that the horrors they suffered would never be repeated. A notable highlight of the exhibition is a panel dedicated to the Nobel Peace Prize awarded to the group in 2024, emphasizing their ongoing advocacy for a world free from nuclear weapons.

The exhibition has been a recurring feature at NPT review conferences, first held in 2005. UN Secretary-General António Guterres remarked that the exhibition serves as a timely reminder of the urgent need for global disarmament initiatives in light of rising nuclear threats.
