The second and larger of the two blazes erupted on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at noon, leveling approximately 30 houses in a swift, high-intensity inferno.

The fire broke out during the heat of the midday sun, spreading rapidly through a dense cluster of homes. Despite the efforts of residents and arriving fire crews, the flames moved with such speed that nearly 30 structures were reduced to ashes before the blaze could be contained.

The community is reeling after back-to-back tragedies that began with a fatal fire on Saturday night, resulting in one death. The devastation escalated this Sunday at noon when another inferno erupted in the same area, consuming approximately 30 houses. These consecutive blazes have left dozens of families displaced, compounding the trauma of a neighborhood already in mourning for the neighbor lost in the previous night's fire.
