The UAE SWAT Challenge 2026, held in Dubai from February 7 to February 11, concluded with Team Kazakhstan “C” clinching the overall title, scoring an impressive 536 points. This marked a significant achievement for Kazakhstan, building on their strong reputation in international tactical competitions. Team Kazakhstan “A” secured second place with 515 points, while China Police “C” rounded out the top three with 493 points.
The results were announced by Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, during a concluding ceremony that honored the winning teams. Kazakhstan's dominance was further highlighted in the final event, the Obstacle Course, where Kazakhstan “B” took first place, followed by China Police “B” and Rwanda National Police “1”.
This year's challenge attracted 109 teams from 48 countries, reinforcing Dubai’s status as a premier venue for tactical excellence and international cooperation. The competition included a variety of events designed to test the skills, endurance, and tactical precision of elite units. The success of the Kazakh teams at this year's games has been celebrated by officials, including Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who praised the professionalism and spirit of the participants.
Notably, an all-female team, Tomiris, representing Kazakhstan, excelled, finishing in 18th place, outperforming many all-male teams, highlighting the inclusivity and diversity within tactical operations.
From hostage rescue operations to complex obstacle courses, the UAE SWAT Challenge continues to evolve, showcasing advancements in training and operational tactics among the world's elite law enforcement agencies. As the event concluded, it reiterated the importance of collaboration in global security efforts.
