The teenager, whose name is being withheld as he is a minor, survived by "playing dead" after being stabbed multiple times inside their home in Barangay Mahabang Parang, Angono.

The domestic horror unfolded in the early hours of Monday, April 6, 2026. According to the Angono Municipal Police Station, the suspect—identified as the boy's 41-year-old father—allegedly snapped during a heated argument, the origins of which are still being investigated.

Witnesses and investigators state that the father armed himself with a kitchen knife and launched a relentless attack on his son. The boy sustained several deep puncture wounds to his torso and arms.
