The strike, characterized by local officials as one of the most powerful to hit the city center in months, left a trail of architectural and civilian devastation.

Central to the morning’s tragedy was the complete destruction of a local historical landmark that served as a children's sports facility. The building, once a vibrant hub for the city’s youth and a pillar of its pre-war heritage, was reduced to a mountain of pulverized brick and twisted metal.
