SHAHADRA, DELHI – A devastating fire tore through a four-story residential building in the Vivek Vihar area of the Shahdara district, resulting in multiple casualties and a large-scale mobilization of emergency services. The blaze, which broke out during the early hours, quickly engulfed the structure, trapping residents inside and sending shockwaves through the local community.

The fire is reported to have started on the lower floors of the residential block before rapidly spreading upward through the central stairwell and ventilation shafts. The density of the building and the presence of flammable household materials contributed to the intensity of the inferno.
